This isn't the first logo I did for the skateshop, but it's the one that stuck. I was wearing this shirt yesterday and after I took it off, I looked at it, with pride. I've printed hundred's (or so, over the years) of shirts with the knives logo. Yeah, I get sick of looking at it, but it's still kind of fun seeing it in public. In the back of my head I always think: "Hey, I did that!"
Here's a weird variation I did on the logo for a "I'm only doing this shirt once" deal:

One of the most fun gigs I ever played (in recent years) was Halloween 2009 (?), when we covered Misfits songs. I think we played five or six songs, and it was nuts. People went crazy! For a 10-15 minute window in time, we WERE the Misfits! It was really fun playing some of my favorite tunes. Good times, good times...

I was going through some pics and found this one. Dogtown, Ben Schroeder, mini. I was stoked when I scored this one, even made "ebay watch" on skateandannoy.com. Though a mini, keep in mind, it's Big Ben, and the mini was still pretty big. I have a full size (used) and it's not that much bigger (if I remember correctly). Story goes: Lance did the graphic, only to have Wes re-draw it. Check Disposable to get the full story or to see the Lance drawing. Now, I'm not one to gush over Wes/BDS, but I really like this one. It's amazing in person, a lot of little detail, and even the yellow/teal fade in the feathers, I guess you gotta see it in person. It really gave me a new perspective on Dogtown graphics of that era.
It's been packed away since I moved last spring, and I kind of forgot I had it. Ooops!

Scum Beer Run 2!!! Scum is making some of the raddist stuff now, Check 'em: http://scumskates.blogspot.com/
I'm riding one of those Heavy Hitters (on the shaped deck), and it's pretty sick. The shape is the same as the Beer Run 2, pictured above. I dig the graphic, it's a nod to the Lucero Riky Barnes 2 (oh, the illusive Riky 2...)

If you missed it, you kooked it!
I thought it was a great film. I hate to sound pathetic, but it seemed to validate my life. I mean, in the sense of my love of skateboarding- collecting, and well, actual skateboarding. Powell wasn't the only one who put silly ideas in my head, Blockhead, Santa Cruz, Thrasher and many more are just as guilty. Thank you for all you've done!

Fargo-Moorhead Beez Basketball! I got this hat on the cheaps, cleaned it up, and it looks pretty cool. I still wish I would have kept my FM Ice Sharks hat. I never saw the Beez play, but had a dream about taking J-Lo to a game, not on a date or anything. Totally weird dream- I don't even have a "thing" for J-Lo. So, yeah, Beez!
